Leonard ‘Lennie’ MOSES and the Moses family have lived in Prince George’s County for over 36 years. He is married to Ebony Moses and they have two young children, Tamara Moses and Leonard Moses, IV. Lennie and Ebony are longtime members of the City of Praise Family Ministries where they were married by Bishop Joel R. Peebles in 2005 and continue to stand for the Word, in season and out of season.
Lennie grew up in both Fort Washington, MD and Baton Rouge, LA and attended college at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
Lennie began his work in the public service and political sector as an aid to the late Issac ‘Ike’ Gourdine, County Council, District 8 and former State Senator Gloria Lawlah. More recently, he is widely known for his service to the people as Special Assistant to former District 8 Council Member and Council Chair, Tony Knotts.
His private sector experience includes being a former Prince George’s County Realtor, small business owner, and Democratic political strategist. He is a Board Member at Prince George’s Community Television (CTV) and a ‘green’ entrepreneur. Lennie is also the founder of The Moses Group, an e-marketing and social media consulting company.
Lennie’s experience in both the public and private sector helps shape his unique insight and distinct ability to communicate with people from all walks of life to help bridge differences among competing interests.
